How long can I stay at MOOI Apartments? The minimum stay is 28 nights, and there is no maximum stay.

Bookings are possible from 28 to 364 nights, subject to availability.

Extensions can be arranged via the MyStay portal. If this is not possible, a follow-on booking can be made.

How far in advance can I book an apartment? In general, stays can be booked up to one year in advance of your desired arrival date.
What rates or offers are available? In St. Gallen, monthly rates for stays of 28 nights or more are offered, including early booking options.

Is a deposit required when booking? This depends on the selected rate:

  • Monthly Special Rate:
    A valid credit card is required to guarantee the booking. After the cancellation deadline, the first 31 nights will be charged. A deposit of CHF 200 is also required.
  • Monthly Special Early Bird Rate:
    The full amount is charged at the time of booking. In addition, a deposit of CHF 200 is required during online check-in.
Which payment methods are accepted? All payments are processed cashlessly and in Swiss francs (CHF).

For bookings and additional services, for example parking, cleaning or laundry, the following payment methods are accepted:

Are there any additional costs besides the apartment price? Taxes and standard service fees are generally included in the price. Additional costs only apply to optional services such as laundry or other bookable extras.
Do I have to pay SERAFE fees? If you officially register at the address for a longer period, a SERAFE fee may apply. If an invoice is issued, it must be paid by the guest. MOOI does not cover these costs.

What apartment categories are available? The following categories are available:

What is included in the apartments? All apartments are fully furnished and include:

  • Living, dining and sleeping area
  • Kitchenette with basic equipment
  • Bathroom with shower and WC
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • TV

Kitchen facilities include a hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, as well as crockery and cutlery.

Is there a safe? Yes, all apartments are equipped with a safe.
Is there a workspace in the apartment? There is no dedicated workspace. However, the dining table can be used as a work area.
Is there air conditioning? No, there is no conventional air conditioning. The apartments are climate-controlled via ventilation, underfloor heating and underfloor cooling.
How does the ventilation system work? The ventilation can be manually controlled. There are several levels as well as an express ventilation mode (15 minutes), for example after cooking.
How does the heating work? The apartments are equipped with underfloor heating. The standard temperature is around 21° C. The temperature can be adjusted by approximately ±3° C via the control panel in the kitchen. Please note that changes may take up to 2 hours to take effect.
What can I do if the apartment is too cold or too warm? You can adjust the temperature via the control panel by approximately ±3°C. Please allow some time for the system to respond, as it operates with a delay. If the temperature remains uncomfortable, a mobile heater or fan can be provided, subject to availability.
Is MOOI suitable for guests with reduced mobility? There are no specially adapted accessible apartments. However, a lift is available, so all floors can be reached.
Is an extra bed available? No. There are no sofa beds or extra beds available in St. Gallen. The maximum occupancy depends on the apartment category.

Is there a smoking area? Smoking is prohibited throughout the building and in all apartments. Smoking is only permitted outside the building.
Is there a communal area? Yes, there is a communal area with seating and a small kitchen. It is accessible at all times.
Is parking available? Yes, a limited number of outdoor parking spaces are available.

Are there charging stations for electric cars? No, there are no EV charging stations available at the St. Gallen location.
Where can I store my bicycle or e-scooter? There is a covered bicycle shelter in front of the building. Bicycles and e-scooters are not allowed inside the apartments.
How does the laundry room work? The laundry room is located on the ground floor. Washing machines and dryers are operated via WeWash. Reservations and payments are made digitally via the app or web app. An iron and ironing board are also available.
Can I receive post or parcels? Yes. Please always provide your full name, the apartment number and the building’s postal address.

  • Letters: personal mailbox in the entrance area
  • Parcels: usually placed on the ground floor or in a protected indoor area

For important deliveries, we recommend signed delivery. MOOI does not accept liability for loss or damage.

Is there luggage storage or additional storage space? Luggage storage before or after your stay is not available. During your stay, a basement storage unit can be rented.

The MOOI apartment building in St. Gallen offers 45 residential units. On the ground floor there is a friendly common room behind a large window front. There are 6 parking spaces in front of the building, which can only be booked on request. Further parking spaces are available in the public (blue) zone in the immediate vicinity of the apartment building.

In just 1 minute you can reach the highway. The bus stop is located in about 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment building. As a special attraction, the FC St. Gallen football stadium with shopping center is within walking distance.
