How long can I stay at MOOI Apartments?	At the Schlieren location, bookings are available from 1 night. There is no fixed maximum length of stay. Subject to availability, stays of 1 to 364 nights can generally be booked. Extensions can usually be arranged via the MyStay portal.
How far in advance can I book an apartment?	This depends on the length of your stay: Stays of 1 to 6 nights can be booked up to a maximum of 40 days before arrival Stays of 7 nights or more can generally be booked up to one year in advance
What accommodation packages and offers are available?	At the Schlieren location, various rate models are available depending on the length of stay: Best Available Rate, Early Bird Rate, Last Minute Rate, Weekly Special Rate, Weekly Special Early Bird Rate, Weekly Special Last Minute Rate, Monthly Special Rate and Monthly Special Early Bird Rate. All available rates, conditions and cancellation policies are displayed during the booking process on the website.

Is a deposit required when booking?	Whether a deposit is required depends on the selected rate: With the Monthly Special Rate, the first 31 nights are charged once the cancellation period has expired. In addition, a deposit of CHF 200 is required. With the Monthly Special Early Bird Rate, the total amount is charged directly at the time of booking; the deposit of CHF 200 is then due during online check-in.
Which payment methods are accepted?	All prices are charged in Swiss francs (CHF). Payments at the Schlieren location are cashless only. Online and in the MyStay portal: Visa / Visa Debit MasterCard / MasterCard Debit American Express Diners Discover UnionPay At the terminal on site: additionally: Maestro, Twint, JCB Additional services can generally be booked and paid for directly via the MyStay portal. For corporate customers, payment by invoice is also possible upon request and subject to approval.
Are there any additional costs besides the apartment price?	Taxes and standard service charges are generally included in the price. Additional costs only apply to optional services, such as: Additional Cleaning Laundry service Additional services via the MyStay portal All costs are displayed transparently during the booking process.
Do I have to pay SERAFE?	A SERAFE obligation may arise if you officially register at the Schlieren address for a longer period. Whether a fee is actually charged depends on the individual situation. If an invoice is issued, it must be paid directly by the guest. MOOI does not cover these costs.

What is included in the apartments? Is there a safe?	Yes, at the Schlieren location, the Superior and Residence categories include a safe. The Basic and Comfort categories do not have a safe.
Is there a workspace in the apartments?	Yes, most apartment categories include a workspace. The Basic Apartment is the exception. In this category, the dining table can be used as a workspace if needed.
Is there air conditioning?	No, there is no traditional air conditioning. The temperature is regulated via centrally controlled ventilation as well as underfloor cooling and underfloor heating.
How does the ventilation work?	The apartments in Schlieren have centrally controlled ventilation that continuously provides fresh air. The ventilation cannot be adjusted manually, as it is coordinated across the entire building.
How does the heating work?	The apartments have underfloor heating that is centrally controlled. The standard temperature is approximately 21 °C. The temperature can be adjusted by about ±3 °C using the control near the entrance. Please note that the system reacts with a delay and it can take up to 2 hours for the desired temperature to be reached.
What can I do if the apartment is too cold or too warm?	You can adjust the temperature by approximately ±3 °C using the control near the entrance. Please allow the system enough time to respond. If it is still too cold, a mobile heater may be provided, subject to availability.
Is MOOI suitable for guests with reduced mobility?	Yes, the Schlieren location offers specially equipped accessible apartments. In addition, the upper floors are easily accessible by lift. If you have specific accessibility requirements, we recommend informing us before booking so that a suitable apartment can be reserved.
Is there an extra bed?	No, traditional extra beds are not available. In the Superior and Residence categories, there is a sofa bed that can be prepared for up to two additional guests.

Is there a smoking area?	Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the building or in the apartments. At the Schlieren location, smoking is only allowed outside in front of the main entrance and in the inner courtyard near the reception on the 2nd floor.
Is there a communal area?	Yes, at the Schlieren location there is a communal area near the reception on the 2nd floor. It is accessible at all times and offers various seating options. In addition, all apartments have their own living and dining area.
Is parking available?	Yes, private parking is available at the Schlieren location. Underground parking spaces can be booked, and this entitlement also covers the outdoor spaces on the ground floor. A reservation is required and is made via the MyStay portal after online check-in. The fees are: CHF 5 per day and vehicle for stays of 28 nights or more CHF 10 per day and vehicle for stays of less than 28 nights Parking is valid until 10:30 a.m. on the following day.
Are there charging stations for electric cars?	Yes, there are three charging stations available in the underground car park. Each charging point provides up to 11 kW. Charging is managed via the EcarUp app, and billing is done directly through the app.
Where can I store my bicycle or e-scooter?	There is a covered bicycle shelter in front of the building, near Lidl. We recommend always locking bicycles and e-scooters. Bicycles and scooters are not permitted inside the apartments. MOOI accepts no liability for damage or theft.
How does the laundry room work?	The laundry room at the Schlieren location is on the 3rd floor. It operates via the WeWash system. Washing machines and dryers can be reserved and paid for digitally via the app or web app. You can also check availability and see when cycles are complete. An iron and ironing board are available for shared use.
Can I receive post or parcels?	Yes, post and parcel deliveries are possible at the Schlieren location. It is important to always include the address, your full name and your apartment number. Letter post is placed in the mailboxes in the reception/lobby on the 2nd floor. Parcels are usually placed on the ground floor next to the lift or on the 2nd floor on the grey shelf. For important deliveries, we recommend signed delivery. MOOI accepts no liability.
Is there luggage storage or additional storage space?	Luggage storage before or after your stay is currently not available at the Schlieren location. Additional storage space, such as a basement unit, is also not available.

Where can I dispose of my rubbish?	Household waste is disposed of as part of the weekly cleaning service. Additional waste should be disposed of by guests themselves in the containers on the ground floor.
Is there a fitness option nearby?	Yes, there is a Clever Fit gym in the same building. MOOI guests benefit from discounted rates: day pass CHF 15 instead of CHF 25, and monthly membership CHF 99 instead of CHF 149. The check-in confirmation must be shown at reception.

What is the address of MOOI Apartments Schlieren?	The address of the Schlieren site is: Zürcherstrasse 133, 8952 Schlieren.
How is the location connected to public transport?	The ‚Mülligen‘ tram stop is about a three-minute walk away. There are good connections from there to Schlieren and the centre of Zurich. This makes the location ideal for both everyday travel and day trips.
How far is the railway station and how can I get there?	Schlieren station is around two kilometres from the site. Depending on your chosen method of travel, it takes around 20 minutes on foot, 5 minutes by tram, and 3 to 5 minutes by taxi or Uber.
Is there a shuttle or taxi service?	We do not offer our own shuttle service. However, taxis, Uber and public transport are readily available for journeys to the train station and Zurich Airport.

Where is the nearest supermarket?	There is a Lidl on the ground floor of the same building as MOOI Schlieren. Other shops, such as Coop and Migros, are located in nearby Schlieren and are about a 15- to 20-minute walk away.
Where can I find a cash machine?	There are cash machines in the area around Schlieren railway station, as well as in other locations. It takes about 20 minutes to walk there.
What language is spoken locally?	German is the main language spoken in Schlieren, with Swiss German commonly used in everyday life. Standard German is widely understood, and English is also commonly spoken, especially in service and hospitality environments.
Can I drink the tap water?	Yes, tap water in Schlieren is clean, safe and of high quality. It comes from controlled sources and is subject to strict quality standards. It can be used for drinking, cooking, coffee and tea.
What sights are nearby?	Around MOOI Schlieren, you can easily reach both Zurich’s city highlights and popular excursion destinations. The MOOI apartment house in Schlieren covers all the needs of daily life. In addition to the fully furnished apartments, there is an underground parking garage, a grocery store and a fitness center in the same building.

The city takes advantage of its excellent location, directly neighboring the business city of Zurich. Companies as well as private individuals appreciate the good public transport offers. The nearby airport and the connection to the highway network round off Schlieren’s accessibility.
