How long can I stay at MOOI Apartments?	The minimum stay is 1 night. There is no fixed maximum stay. Bookings are possible from 1 to 364 nights, subject to availability. An extension can be arranged via the MyStay portal. If an extension is not available there, you can make a separate follow-on booking. If you send us your new booking confirmation, we will be happy to check whether you can stay in the same apartment.
How far in advance can I book an apartment?	Stays of 7 nights or more can generally be booked up to 1 year in advance. Short stays of 1 to 6 nights can be booked up to a maximum of 40 days before arrival.
What accommodation packages and offers are available?	MOOI offers different rates depending on the length of stay: 1–6 nights: Best Available Rate, Early Bird Rate, Last Minute Rate 7–27 nights: Weekly Special Rate, Weekly Special Early Bird Rate, Weekly Special Last Minute Rate 28+ nights: Monthly Special Rate, Monthly Special Early Bird Rate All available rates and conditions can be found during the booking process on the website.
Can I extend my stay?	Yes, an extension is possible via the MyStay portal, subject to availability. If this is not possible, you can make a separate follow-up booking. We will then check whether you can stay in the same apartment.

Payment & Conditions

Is a deposit required when booking?	This depends on the selected rate. For flexible rates, the credit card is usually only used as a guarantee. For non-refundable rates, the total amount is charged at the time of booking. For monthly stays, a deposit and additional charges may apply. The exact conditions are shown with the selected rate.
Which payment methods are accepted?	Payments are made in Swiss francs (CHF) and are cashless only. Common credit and debit cards are accepted. Additional services can usually be paid directly via the MyStay portal. Depending on the location, additional payment methods such as Twint or Maestro may be accepted at the on-site terminal. Corporate bookings can be invoiced upon request and after a successful credit check.
Are there any additional costs besides the apartment price?	Taxes and standard service charges are generally included in the price. Additional costs may only apply to optional services, such as laundry, additional cleaning or other services booked via the MyStay portal. All costs are displayed transparently during the booking process.
Do I have to pay SERAFE?	In some cases, a SERAFE obligation may arise if you officially register at the MOOI address. Whether this applies depends, among other things, on the duration of stay and registration status. If a SERAFE invoice is issued, it must be paid by the guest. MOOI does not cover these costs.

What is included in the apartments?	All apartments are fully furnished and include: Living, dining and sleeping area Fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette Bathroom with shower and WC Free Wi-Fi TV Coffee machine Kettle Toaster Crockery and kitchen utensils
Is there a safe?	Yes, a safe is available in all apartment categories.
Is there a workspace in the apartments?	Yes, all apartment categories include a workspace.
Is there air conditioning?	No, the apartments do not have traditional air conditioning. The temperature is regulated via a central ventilation system as well as underfloor cooling and heating.
How does the ventilation work?	The ventilation system is centrally controlled and continuously supplies fresh air. It cannot be adjusted manually in the apartment.
How does the heating work?	The apartments have centrally controlled underfloor heating. The standard temperature is approximately 21° C. The temperature can be adjusted by around ±3° C in the apartment. Please note that the system reacts with a delay and it can take up to 2 hours for the desired temperature to be reached.
What can I do if it is too cold or too warm in the apartment?	You can adjust the temperature by approximately ±3°C using the control in the apartment. Changes take time to take effect. If this is not sufficient, MOOI may provide a mobile heater or fan, subject to availability.
Is MOOI suitable for guests with reduced mobility?	There are no specially equipped accessible apartments, but a lift is available.
Is an extra bed available?	Additional extra beds cannot be booked. However, the Superior and Residence categories include sofa beds for up to two additional persons. No extra beds are available in other categories.

On-site Services

Is there a smoking area?	No, smoking is prohibited throughout the building and in all apartments. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Is there a communal area?	No, there is no separate communal area. Each apartment has its own living and dining space.
Is parking available?	Yes, private parking is available at the Grenchen location. A reservation is required and should be made as early as possible. Parking can be booked via the MyStay portal after online check-in. You must provide your number plate and country of registration. The booking is valid until 10:30 am on the following day.
Are there charging stations for electric cars?	No, there are currently no charging stations available.
Where can I store my bicycle or e-scooter?	There is a covered bicycle shelter near the building. Bicycles and scooters are not allowed inside the apartments. Please always lock your vehicle. MOOI accepts no liability for theft or damage.
How does the laundry room work?	Washing machines and dryers are operated via WeWash. Booking, payment and machine availability are managed through the WeWash app or web app. An iron and ironing board are available for free use in the laundry room.
Can I receive post or parcels?	Yes, post and parcel deliveries are possible. Please always provide your full name, the apartment number and the address of the location. Handling and storage may vary by location. MOOI accepts no liability for loss, damage or forwarding of deliveries.
Is luggage storage or additional storage available?	Luggage storage before or after your stay is not available. During your stay, a storage unit may be booked via the MyStay portal, subject to availability.
What optional extras can I book?	At the Grenchen location, the following extras may be available: Baby cot Additional pillow Additional duvet Additional towels Extra linen change Additional cleaning Early check-in Late check-out Parking Storage unit These can be booked via the MyStay portal.
Where can I dispose of rubbish?	Rubbish in the kitchen bin is disposed of during the weekly cleaning. Additional waste should be disposed of in the containers on the ground floor. Instructions can be found inside the kitchen cupboard under the sink.

Is there a shuttle or taxi service?	MOOI does not offer its own shuttle service. However, taxis and ride services can easily be arranged individually. For public transport, we recommend using the SBB app.
