How long can I stay at MOOI Apartments? The minimum stay is 28 nights, and there is no maximum stay limit. Bookings are possible from 28 to 364 nights, subject to availability.

An extension can generally be arranged via the MyStay portal. If this is not possible, a separate follow-on booking may be required.

How far in advance can I book an apartment? Stays can generally be booked up to one year in advance, depending on availability.
What accommodation packages and offers are available? At the Biel location, only monthly rates are offered for stays of 28 nights or more.

Is a deposit required when booking? Whether a deposit is required depends on the selected rate.

  • Monthly Special Rate:
    The credit card is initially used to guarantee the booking. After the cancellation period has expired, the first 31 nights will be charged. In addition, a security deposit of CHF 200 is required.
  • Monthly Special Early Bird Rate:
    For this rate, the full stay is charged at the time of booking. The CHF 200 deposit is then required during online check-in.
Which payment methods are accepted? Payments at the Biel location are cashless only.

Do I have to pay SERAFE? A SERAFE obligation may arise if you officially register at the Biel address for a longer period. Whether a fee is actually charged depends on your individual situation. If an invoice is issued, it must be paid directly by the guest. MOOI does not cover these costs.

Is there a safe? Yes, all apartments are equipped with a safe.
Is there a workspace in the apartments? Yes, all apartment categories include a workspace.
Is there air conditioning? No, there is no traditional air conditioning.

The temperature is regulated via a combination of ventilation and underfloor heating and cooling.

How does the ventilation work? The ventilation can be manually controlled and has several levels.

There is also a boost ventilation function (approx. 15 minutes), which is particularly useful after cooking. The system then adjusts automatically.

How does the heating work? The apartments are equipped with underfloor heating.

  • Standard temperature: approx. 21 °C
  • Adjustment: ±3 °C via the control panel in the kitchen

Please note that temperature adjustments may take up to 2 hours to take full effect.

What can I do if it is too cold or too warm in the apartment? You can adjust the temperature via the control panel by approximately ±3 °C.

Please allow some time for the system to respond.

If it is still too cold or too warm, a portable heater or fan can be provided, subject to availability.

Is MOOI suitable for guests with reduced mobility? There are no specially equipped accessible apartments at the Biel location. However, the building has a lift, so all floors are generally accessible.
Is an extra bed available? No, additional beds are not available. In the Superior apartment, a sofa bed can be prepared for one additional person.

Is there a designated smoking area? Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the building or in the apartments. Smoking is only allowed outside the building and in the courtyard.
Is there a communal area? Yes, there is a communal area at reception.

It is accessible at all times and offers seating as well as a small kitchen with a microwave.

Is parking available? Yes, you can book one of the five outdoor parking spaces as an optional extra. Reservations can be made via the MyStay portal after online check-in and are subject to availability. The fee is CHF 5 per vehicle per day. Bookings are valid until 10:30 am the following day. As spaces are limited, we recommend booking in advance.
Are there charging points for electric cars? No, there are no EV charging stations available at the Biel location.
Where can I store my bicycle or e-scooter? Two options are available:

  • Covered bicycle shelter in the courtyard
  • Lockable bike storage room in the basement (including charging for e-bikes)

Bicycles and e-scooters are not permitted inside the apartments.

How does the laundry room work? The laundry room is located in the basement and operates via the WeWash system. Machines can be reserved and paid for digitally via the app or web app. You can also check availability and see when your laundry cycle is finished. An iron and ironing board are available for shared use.
Can I receive post or parcels? Yes, post and parcel deliveries are possible.

  • Letters: personal mailbox in the entrance area (access via PIN)
  • Parcels: stored in the protected indoor area on the ground floor

When placing an order, please always provide your full name, the apartment number and the full address of the location.

For important deliveries, we recommend tracked or signed delivery. MOOI accepts no liability.

Is luggage storage or additional storage available? Luggage storage before or after your stay is not available. During your stay, a basement storage unit can be rented.
